Saying goodbye to a cherished pet is always difficult. At Calming Paws, we are here to help you though this difficult moment with compassion, respect and care. We believe that every pet deserves a peaceful and loving end to their journey; and we are honoured to support your family in providing this for your furry friend.

Our goal is to make this process as comforting and stress free as possible, allowing the focus to be on spending previous time with your pets. Through at-home euthanasia, we ensure that your pets final moments are filled surrounded by the love of your family.

At-home care, allowing your pet to pass in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by family
A low stress, peaceful experience ensuring a calm transition for both pet and family
Pre-sedation so that your pet is gently relaxed before the final procedure, making the transition as smooth and comfortable as possible
After-care coordination through Evermore Crematatory, offering communal and private cremation

About Calming Paws Mobile Vet

My name is Dr Ryan Kotas, and I have been a veterinarian since 2020. Over the past five years, I have worked within the GP environment where I have developed a passion for helping families by providing compassionate care during the most challenging moments in a pets life; saying goodbye.

Euthanasia is never an easy decision but I believe it is a chance to offer your beloved companion a peaceful and stress-free farewell. I have strive to create an environment where pets deal at ease and their families can cherish these final moments together.

This is why I have founded Calming Paws. To bring this specialised care to your pets most comforting environment. My goal is to make the process as loving as possible, ensuring your pets memory is cherished.

Outside of work, I am an active person who loves hikes, going to the beach and spending time with my six- year old Poodle X. He's a cherished part of my life, and I hope to give him the same gentle and loving care when his time comes. At Calming Paws, I am here to guide you through this difficult time with empathy and kindness as I would my own pets.
